Day 1  – Arrival in NAIROBI, KENYA

Upon arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our representative will meet and transfer you to/check in at Ibis Styles Nairobi for overnight.

Balance of the day spent at leisure with lunch and dinner under own arrangements.

Day 2  – NAIROBI/ AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast and a safari briefing, you drive south to Amboseli National Park (250kms/4hrs) sitting at the foothills of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro.

Amboseli National Park is located in the southern part of Kenya near the border with Tanzania. Being one of Kenya’s popular destination with one of the most beautiful backdrops of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park prides is its large herds of elephants, it is also home to lions, buffaloes, giraffes, Zebras and birdlife. Visitors can also experiences Maasai culture through village visits and cultural tours.

You arrive, and check in, at Sentrim Amboseli Lodge for overnight.

After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive to spot some African elephants and other wildlife.

Return to the lodge in time to freshen up before dinner and overnight.

Day 3  – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Awake to the sounds of the jungle with a brilliant view of the horizon and the beautiful sunrise.  Enjoy the Kilimanjaro view if the day is clear and bright.

After breakfast, full day game or morning and evening drive in search of Amboseli’s wild features and creatures. All meals and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4  – AMBOSELI N.P/NAIROBI/LAKE NAIVASHA

After breakfast, you drive back to Nairobi (250kms/4hrs) where you stop for lunch.

You will then continue to Naivasha (80kms/1½hrs). You will arrive and check in at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort in time for lunch.

In the evening, enjoy a sunset boat ride on the beautiful lake Naivasha with opportunities to see different species of water birds, hippos and other wild animal on the shores of the lake.

Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge

Day 5  – LAKE NAIVASHA/LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. You arrive and check in at Sentrim Lake Elementaita Lodge in time for check in and lunch.

Afterwards, you drive into the park for a late afternoon game viewing drive; in search of lions, leopards, antelopes and some of the biggest buffalo bulls to be found anywhere in east Africa. Lake Nakuru is also the easiest place in East Africa to see both species of rhinos i.e., the browser Rhino and the thin-lipped Black Rhino; but her ultimate beauty is the almost one million-strong flamingoes and accompanying pelicans that paint the entire lake pink and have made it world famous; you may step out on the edge of the lake for photos.

You return to the lodge in the evening with time to freshen up before dinner and overnight.

Day 6  – LAKE NAKURU N.P/MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

After breakfast, check out and drive to Maasai Mara, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife havens and home of the majestic Maasai people; as sight of the phenomenal wildebeest migration is considered the 8th wonder of the natural world.

The Mara is located in the southwestern side of Kenya. It is located approximately 270km from Nairobi with a driving time of roughly 6hrs. Popular for the Great Migration where thousands of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles migrate from the Serengeti in Tanzania in search of pasture. Its wildlife population also includes all the Big five namely lions, leopard, elephants, buffaloes and rhinoceros. Birdlife at the Mara include over 470 species. The Maasai Mara reserve is named after the Maasai people known for their dances, crafts and traditions.

With lunch and an afternoon game viewing drive en-route, you arrive and check in and Sentrim Mara Camp in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 – MAASAI MARA N.R

Full days spent in Maasai Mara with early morning and late afternoon game viewing drives; or an all-day game viewing drive with picnic lunches; search for the Mara’s wild creatures and mammals including elephants, prides of lions, cheetahs, hyenas, antelopes, gnus – even the elusive leopard or rhino if lucky; the reserve has reputedly the highest concentration of wild mammals in Africa before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

There is so much to see and do in Maasai Mara: Optional Activities at Extra Charge:

  • Hot air ballooning over the Maasai Mara plains for a bird’s eye view of this stunning wildlife ‘paradise’
  • Visit to a Maasai Village where you mix and mingle with this proud and aloof tribes-people.
  • A Nature/Bush Walk with a Maasai naturalist guide.
  • Bush breakfast or a Bush dinner under stars with a Moran mock attack.
  • A Fishing Excursion to L.Victoria, world’s second largest fresh water lake, for giant Nile Perch

Day 8 – MAASAI MARA N.R

Day 10 – DEPART
