OVERVIEW

This 8-day safari is the way to see the premier wildlife destinations in Tanzania, full of every memorable moment. From the baobab trees of Tarangire National Park and its great elephant herds for a glimpse of classic African landscapes, to descending into Ngorongoro Crater, with its diverse habitats housing the Big Five and much else besides, this safari just gets better. Conclude in the vast Serengeti National Park amid the open plains teeming with predators, plains game, and-if you are lucky-the mesmerizing Great Migration.

Day 1 – Arrival in ARUSHA, TANZANIA

Upon arrival at Arusha’s Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by a our representative and transferred to the African Tulip Hotel (50kms/45mins) for overnight.

Balance of the day spent at leisure with lunch and dinner under own arrangements.

Day 2  – ARUSHA/TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, and a safari briefing, you check out and drive to Tarangire National Park (135kms/2½hrs).

You will arrive, and check in, Maramboi Tented Lodge for overnight.

Following lunch, enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive within Tarangire’s baobab-studded landscape in search of her towering elephants and incredibly large herds of buffalo. Other terrestrial mammals found in the park include leopard, cheetah, parks of wild dogs, hyena, antelopes, zebra, giraffe and many species of birds including the ostrich.

You shall return to lodge in the early evening with time to refresh before dinner and overnight.

Day 3  – TARANGIRE /NGORONGORO CRATER CONSERVATION AREA

After breakfast, check out and drive to the famous Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area.

En-route, you stop at Lake Manyara National Park for a mid-morning game viewing drive.

After your picnic lunches somewhere in the wilderness, you drive on to Ngorongoro and check in at Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 4  – NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast as you descend into the crater floor. Explore the stunning landscape in search of a variety of wild game, such as rhinos, lions, elands, and numerous bird species, offering incredible photo opportunities. Enjoy a picturesque picnic lunch by Lake Makati, surrounded by flamingoes in this enchanting enclosure.

In the late afternoon, exit the crater and return to lodge early evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5  – SERENGETI/NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast, you will check out and drive to the famous Serengeti National Park

You arrive at check in at Ole Serai Luxury Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6   – SERENGETI NATIONAL RESERVE

Full days dedicated to early morning and late afternoon game drives. Alternatively, opt for an all-day game drive with delightful picnics, all aimed at witnessing the anticipated wildebeest migration in the area during this season. As the day ends, retreat to the camp for a relaxing evening, indulging in a hearty dinner, and spending the night amidst the captivating wilderness.

 Day 7  – SERENGETI NATIONAL RESERVE

Full days dedicated to early morning and late afternoon game drives. Alternatively, opt for an all-day game drive with delightful picnics, all aimed at witnessing the anticipated wildebeest migration in the area during this season. As the day ends, retreat to the camp for a relaxing evening, indulging in a hearty dinner, and spending the night amidst the captivating wilderness.

Day 8  – SERENGETI /DEPART

After breakfast, you will check out and drive back to Arusha for your departure flight.
